Single Item Moving: One Piece, Handled Properly
Priced for the Actual Job
Any Item, Any Size
One Item Doesn't Mean a Simple Job
A piano is one item. A large commercial fridge is one item. A solid timber dining table being passed down through a family is one item. We’ve moved all of them, and we know that “single item” doesn’t automatically mean straightforward. What it does mean is that we price it fairly and handle it properly, regardless of what that one thing is.
Single item moves are completed regularly across New Zealand — from Trade Me pickups to family heirlooms shifted between cities.
The right crew is sent for what’s actually being moved – not one person with a van hoping it fits.
Access is figured out before the lifting starts — stairs, narrow hallways, apartment buildings, we sort it out.
It gets placed where you want it — the right room, the right position, not left at the front door for you to deal with.

What We Include
in a Single Item Move
Everything needed to get your item from one place to another, without shortcuts.
Protective Wrapping
Your item is wrapped before it goes on the vehicle. We don't skip this step because it's a smaller job.
Right-Sized Crew
Most single-item moves need two people. We send the right number for what's being moved, not just one person, to save on costs.
Access & Stairs
Apartments, narrow hallways, and multi-storey buildings – tricky access is part of the job. We figure it out before we start lifting.
Marketplace Pickups
Bought something online that needs collecting? We do Trade Me pickups regularly. Send us the seller's address, and we'll handle the rest.
Placed Where You Want It
We carry it to the right room, up the stairs if needed, and position it exactly where it's going. We don't leave it at the front door.
Local & Long Distance
Going across town or to another city, the same careful approach either way. Distance just affects the quote, not the standard.
One Item Is Still a Real Job

Single Item Move FAQs
Things people usually want to know before booking a Single Item move with us.
We price single-item moves based on the actual job, not a flat rate built for full removals. Contact us with the details, and we'll give you a fair quote.
Yes, we do them regularly. Give us the seller's address, your delivery address, and details about the item; we'll sort the pickup and delivery.
We move large and heavy items regularly, such as pianos, commercial appliances, gym equipment, and large safes. If you're unsure, just ask.
Not a problem. We can include it on a scheduled route or arrange a dedicated run depending on distance and timing.
No. That's what we're there for. Just be at both ends to let us in and point us in the right direction.
